Founded in 1890, GFWC is one of the world’s largest and oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational women’s volunteer service organizations. As true volunteers in action, GFWC members annually donate an average of $23 million on behalf of more than 195,000 projects and volunteer more than six million hours. 60,000 members strong, the General Federation of Women’s Clubs is united in its dedication to volunteer community service. While diverse in age, interests, and experiences, all club women are united by a desire to create positive change in their communities.
